Last week my two year contract with AT&T was running out and I reentered the cell phone market. Like most other people I have been following the iPhone and felt an urge to jump on it. Then it happened.
I came upon a deal while casually looking at cell phones on Amazon.com. A free Blackberry 8310 with a two year agreement.
I had never heard of Blackberries for free, especially a brand new curve with GPS, 2mp camera, and more. I took a look at some reviews and the whole deal grew more legit. I finally called Amazon to make sure I wasn’t missing something. The only charge to Amazon would be $250 if you cancelled or decreased your plan within six months. Wow.
So, I got my two year extention, no activation fee, free two day shipping, and I dropped a few dollars on a leather swivel case and a silicone cover. Grand total? $11. I feel like I stole something. It just doesn’t feel right.
I received it in the mail today. Everything is working fine and as it should. I couldn’t be happier. You just don’t get brand new Curves for $0. Ah, sunny day!
